Alvarez & Marsal

Star of Hope serves Houston's homeless men, women and families daily with help for their immediate needs – and with longer term life-changing spiritual, educational, as well as vocational and employment needs.

It’s important to recognize that the need to support Houston’s homeless doesn’t end after the holidays. According to a report published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, recent statistics indicate that more than 6,300 people are without a home in Houston on any given night – roughly 2/3rds of which are children.

As such, in addition to the many wonderful causes that our firm supports, we would like to encourage everyone to continue to sponsor Star of Hope in their mission throughout the year. We raised a fantastic $9,040 in financial contributions during our inaugural drive, but for 2015 we would like to set a new goal to raise $10,000 during the 2015 calendar year.

Any donation made to Star of Hope via this fundraising page will contribute to our final goal. So as you think about your monthly or annual charitable contributions, please keep Star of Hope in mind.
